Be Electrified! Charge up for a ‘Shocking’ Playdate focuses on the topic “Electricity”. It explores the fundamentals of the topic “Electricity”. At the same time, participants get to apply the theory into all of their projects.
Be Electrified! (Part TWO)
Be Electrified! Charge up for a ‘Shocking’ Playdate is a series of 8 engaging and hands-on lessons. Thus, in this workshop, participants will experience half of the full workshop without having to commit to a long term, 9 weeks long, workshop.
I did not attend Part ONE of the workshop, can I register Part TWO of the workshop?
Yes, certainly, insyaAllah. The first session will still be a theory + experiment session to allow participants to have a basic understanding of electricity before doing the 3 STEAM projects in the subsequent 3 weeks.
I attended Part ONE. What do you mean by $5 off?
If you have attended Be Electrified! Part ONE, you are entitled to have a $5 discount off the workshop fees. This can only be applied if your child still have the following equipments with them:
1 x battery holder 2 x AA baterries 1 x bulb + bulb holder 2 x wires with crocodile clips
4 days worth of 1+3 STEAM lessons
Our workshop will include one theory lesson that is fun and interactive without being content heavy. It will be followed by 3 STEAM lessons that will be open-ended and promotes practice-based learning with a child- centered learning environment.
CHARACTER BUILDING FOCUS
While learning Science is one of the objectives, our highest priority is to provide opportunities that fosters the love and challenge of learning while promoting and teaching good character values.
DROP-OFF CLASSES
Classes will be held in the comfort of my home at Tampines (exact address will be informed once payment and confirmation has been made).
AGE SUITABILITY
While the targetted audience is 7 years and up, MasyaAllah, we had participants as young as 5 years old in our previous workshops. You know your child best! If you think he is ready and will enjoy it, hop on over!
